Access, deletion and other data requests
How to get a copy of, correct, delete or otherwise control the personal data we hold about you. Your rights are set out in our privacy notice.
Do it yourself
If you have an account, you can download a copy of your data or delete your account straight away, without writing to us, from Account → Your data once you’re signed in.
How to ask us
For anything else, email admin@msclumina.com and tell us what you would like, for example "send me a copy of my data" or "delete my account and everything in it". You don't need to cite any law or use a form. It's free.
How we check it's you
We check that the request comes from the email address on your account. Before deleting anything, we send a one-time confirmation link to that address. We only ask for more in a narrow case, for example if you write from an address we don't have on file, and then only for the minimum extra detail we need. We never ask for photo ID.
How long it takes
We reply within one calendar month of receiving your request. If a request is complex, or you send several, we can extend that by up to two more months; if so, we'll tell you within the first month and explain why. If we can't do what you ask, we'll say why and remind you that you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
What deleting your account removes
Deleting your account removes:
- your account and sign-in details;
- your household, equipment and settings;
- your dietary and allergen profiles, for you and the people you cook for;
- your recipes, timelines and shopping lists;
- your plan details, after any subscription has been ended;
- your waitlist entry, if you had one.
We keep a small amount, as the law requires or allows:
- evidence of the consents you gave and of when your service started, for 6 years, in case we need to show we handled them properly;
- billing records held by Stripe, for 6 years, for tax and accounting;
- our usage events, with the link to you removed, so they no longer identify you;
- your emails with us about the request, for 3 years after it closes.
Our database backups are kept for 7 days, so deleted data is gone from them within 7 days. Anything already sent to Anthropic to generate a recipe is deleted by Anthropic within 30 days, as the privacy notice explains.
